AOD9604, short for “Anti-Obesity Drug 9604,” is a synthetic peptide fragment derived from the C-terminal region of human growth hormone (hGH). It consists of amino acids 176 through 191 of hGH, with an additional tyrosine residue at the N-terminus. Its molecular formula is C₇₈H₁₂₃N₂₃O₂₃S₂, and it has a molecular weight of approximately 1815.12 g/mol.
